Chief Executive Officer

I have always known that I think differently – caring more deeply about the simpler things others easily cast aside. My favourite book as a child was ‘The Giving Tree’ by Shel Silverstein. The values demonstrated through this story became my guiding light. To this day, I approach everything I do with kindness, integrity, dedication, and respect – including my business.

After pursuing a degree in Psychology, I started my career working as an Executive Assistant on Wall Street. After a couple of years, I immigrated to Canada where I settled into Customer Service, IT Help-desk, and Sales. I then obtained a second degree in Medical Transcription, while owning & operating a Standardbred Racing & Breeding stable! None of these seem your typical route into recruitment, but at their core all these industries share one common and underlying principle. The importance of connection. I took to recruitment like a duck to water – creating connections, guiding careers, and above all providing a foundation for people to propel themselves forward. It did not take me long to realize, however, that there was a major misalignment between the recruitment services companies needed and the services they were provided.

When you are different you have two choices. You either conform, or you build on your strengths and break the mould. There was only ever one option for me, and after only 5 years in the industry, I founded EA Associates Inc. to break that mould. My mission was to create a people-first organization that was grounded in partnership and focused on delivering both client and candidate success. Recruitment is my passion, because when it is done right, when it puts people first, it is founded on these very same principles. I am proud to say that my company is flourishing because we put people first.

These same guiding principles of transparency, integrity, dedication, and respect combined with connectivity also drive the other great passion of my life – my support of mental health awareness. Through my own personal experiences, and the shared experiences of friends and family, I have witnessed the significant impact these diseases have wrought on the lives of those that suffer. These impacts seem only to be magnified in the lives of our youth. I have dedicated my life, and by extension the resources of my company EA Associates, to champion this incredibly important cause and help bring relief to those that are suffering.

Jenn is a highly driven and accomplished professional who brings 20+ years of demonstrated history in generating bottom-line impact through targeted operations, human resource management, innovative sales strategies, and marketing initiatives that are aligned with emergent business strategies. Her extensive background within the Healthcare, Finance, Education and Professional Service sectors has equipped her with the skills and proficiencies necessary to drive innovation, eliminate operational barriers, and consistently deliver services of the highest quality. Her expertise in hiring, onboarding, training, and people management brings a uniquely qualified talent to EA Associates. This talent will help drive the cultural shift that will transform the recruitment industry for both clients and candidates alike.

We actively promote mental health awareness, and are particularly focused on youth in crisis, a demographic for which mental health care is historically underfunded.
We demonstrate our commitment to ending the stigma by making a matching donation of $200 to a mental health and wellness non-profit every time we pay a referral fee, and by actively supporting local initiatives designed to promote mental health.
